Stress Management and Well-being Workshop
Stress is a common experience among all of us, which impacts our productivity, interpersonal
communication, mental health, and overall well-being. The purpose of this workshop is to
provide clients with practical strategies and techniques they can use to manage stress and
promote overall well-being.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is often misconstrued as solely a practice of meditation and most of the providers
deliver the same concept. But at Jyotir Health, we see mindfulness as a profound way of living
that transcends the boundaries of silent contemplation.
At its core, mindfulness is the art of being fully present in the moment, cultivating a non-
judgmental awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings. In the rush of modern life,
mindfulness can serve as a steady anchor. Jyotir Health mindfulness sessions help our clients to
engage with complete attention whether they're sipping morning coffee, having lunch, engaging
in a business meeting or office work, walking through a park, or doing household chores. It
transforms routine tasks into moments of deep appreciation, offering a reprieve from the mental
chatter that often dominates our minds.
Our mindfulness programs include not only formal meditation practices but also practices that
can be implemented in our all-daily activities.
Jyotir Impact: Educating with Care
Effective communication is the cornerstone of building strong teacher-student relationships,
understanding individual needs, and addressing challenges effectively. But in many cases, we
find that educators are handling issues with punishment, verbal warnings, suspension, and other
similar actions that may cause more issues. To avoid using these actions for a better classroom
experience for both the educators as well as students, we provide teachers with the necessary
techniques and tools. These skills not only enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
but also contribute to a positive school culture.
To ensure a better teaching-learning environment, Jyotir Health has introduced a program named
Jyotir Impact, a new concept in Nepal, which focuses on enhancing student-teacher relationships
for the enriching educational experience of the students.
Psychological First Aid Training
Psychological First Aid (PFA) training is a program that equips individuals with the essential
skills to provide basic psychological support to those in need. PFA focuses on principles of
compassion, active listening, and empathy to help individuals cope with the emotional and
psychological impact of distressing situations. It helps to offer practical tools for assessing needs,
providing reassurance, and connecting people to appropriate resources.
Individual Counseling
We provide individual counseling sessions to adult as well as adolescent clients for their issues
such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and all other kinds of mental health
issues.
Smart Children Parenting
Smart Children Parenting involves nurturing and supporting the intellectual, emotional, and
social development of the children. It includes providing appropriate challenges, fostering
creativity, and addressing their unique needs to help them reach their full potential.
Group Counseling
We provide group sessions as per the needs and requests of clients with similar issues. These
sessions are designed to address issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. A minimum of 2
individuals can form a group and we will cater to their similar problems in these group
counseling sessions.
Mental Health Awareness
Mental health is a critical aspect of one's overall well-being, and it is essential to take care of it just as we would take care of our physical health. The Mental Health Awareness Program aims to promote a better understanding of mental health and provide the participants with the knowledge and skills to maintain good mental health.
